New solution for managing outsourced and in-house resources to ensure 100% utilisation

London, UK- 14th March 2008

KnowledgeCore announces the availability of a new module designed to ensure resources used on IT development, testing and implementation projects are fully utilised. The new Resource Management Module enables organisations to monitor and report in real-time on resource utilisation, in-house versus outsourced utilisation, importance of individuals and groups to critical projects and their current contract status plus the rolled up cost of resources by project or programme.

Resources can be linked to risks, to projects, to business objectives or to business processes and reports delivered via a dynamic dashboard to any stand alone or networked PC, to a laptop, PDA or Smartphone anywhere in the world. An escalation engine delivers warnings of under or over utilisation, potential breach of a service level agreement or budget or the potential failure of a project or programme for instant management analysis and rectification.

The new Resource Management Module links to Programme and Project Management, Requirements, Risks and Issues and Change Management modules to form a fully integrated solution that extracts data automatically from existing sources within an organisation. These sources can be any existing database, financial system, HR or timesheet management tool, test management tools and any Microsoft tool including Microsoft Project. Organisations do not have to change a single business process in any way as the solution adapts to the customers existing methods of working. There is also no requirement to change or add to any existing software deployed or incur any additional costs.

The KnowledgeCore solution brings the ability to deploy effective project management to even small to medium sized companies due to the modular and low cost nature of individual modules when compared to global, end to end solutions previously available.
