Zeus Technology Announces Service Provider License Agreement Program

Santa Clara, CA - 29 July 2008

Program Names Logicworks as First Partner

Zeus Technology, a leading provider of application delivery controller software, announced today the Zeus Service Provider License Agreement (SPLA) program. Zeus SPLA enables service providers to use Zeus’ ZXTM (Zeus Extensible Traffic Manager) software on a monthly basis with the flexibility to deploy more or fewer ZXTMs as needed, allowing them to create additional revenue opportunities with minimal upfront costs.

Zeus’ first SPLA partner is Logicworks, a leading provider of high-availability hosting solutions to support business-critical applications and content. With Zeus’ SPLA program, Logicworks can now offer ZXTM to their customers through their existing utility-based revenue model without an out-of-pocket software purchase.

ZXTM is the only application delivery solution available as software, making the formulation of a specific service provider licensing program very simple.

“As an enterprise hosting provider, we need to deliver high-performance to our clients,” said Kenneth Ziegler, president and chief operating officer of Logicworks. “Zeus’ product suite and new SPLA program accelerates application delivery and allows us to better align our revenues with our costs, meeting the needs of both our customers and our working capital.”
“In today’s growing and highly competitive Web hosting market, we understand the importance of our service provider customers being able to add new services to their end users quickly and easily, with a flexible cost structure,” said Paul Brennan, Chairman and CEO of Zeus Technology. “We are thrilled to be able to offer a SPLA program that allows service providers to give customers a reliable, fault tolerant service whilst generating additional revenue.”
