CTS North America Expands Market Presence

CTS North America today announced an expanded sales and marketing presence in North America. CTS North America will strengthen its sales force with industry specialists who will support major prospects and clients, and collaborate with the company’s channel partners. Urs Bockli, who has joined the company as executive vice president and general manager of CTS North America, will lead this expansion.

The expanded CTS North America team will create “market pull” in order to provide sales leads and integration support to its channels partners. This initiative builds on its recent agreement with MTS Software Solutions Inc. under which MTS operating units, AMI Imaging of Mt. Laurel, N.J. and PMI Imaging Systems of Florida, Pompano Beach, Fla., will sell, service and provide logistics in support of all CTS desktop check scanning equipment for the North American market. The CTS business development team will work closely with the MTS dedicated sales force and with its other channels partners to facilitate sales and to support major accounts.

As EVP and general manager of CTS North America, Bockli will continue to build CTS’ presence in North America and enhance its reputation as one of the leaders in banking automation. CTS works closely with specialized system integrators and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to add its peripherals and to build open frame cash handling and check cashing capabilities into equipment for bank tellers and back office operations, as well as self-service and remote deposit capture systems.

Prior to joining CTS, Bockli was a founding partner of Onset Marketing LLC of Farmington Hills, Mich., a marketing company that provides strategic market planning, branding, and lead generation services to small and mid-sized companies.

Previously, he was with UNISYS Corporation of Blue Bell, Penn., where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including director of marketing, strategic planning, and sales director for Europe/Africa for the Payment Systems Division.

Bockli holds the degree of Corporate Economist from the Zurich School of Advanced Economics and Business Administration, and is a Professional Certified Marketer. He is an adjunct lecturer at the University of Michigan’s School of Business.
