DBFS’s methodology shows outstanding cost savings

17 July 2008

DBFS, the IT Consultancy and Project Delivery specialist, has worked with some of their clients to undertake a cost/benefit analysis of their Structured Project Delivery practice, DBFS2M.

‘The results are more positive than we had anticipated’, says Brian McNulty, Executive Partner, DBFS. ‘DBFS2M, our proprietary project delivery methodology, encapsulates our structured approach to management and execution of IT projects. Our analysis has shown that it achieves approximately a 40% cost saving when compared to alternative approaches.’

These savings can be crudely broken down as 10% realized through using DBFS Project Director, our on-line project monitoring and control tool, a further 20% saving through our industry specific solution libraries and another 10% through automation, provided by our cutting-edge Continuous Integration development processes.

‘DBFS2M is designed to work across not only our Software Development assignments but also our IT Operations Consulting projects’, adds David Upton, Managing Partner, DBFS.
