Vindicia Enhances Customer Acquisition and Retention for Online Merchants with Latest CashBox Release

Vindicia, a leading provider of on-demand payment management software, today announced a new version of its hosted billing solution, CashBoxâ„¢. Designed for recurring and one-time transactions, Vindicia CashBox enables online merchants to attract and retain customers globally through a variety of services including a built-in tax engine and support for multiple processors, currencies and languages.

Enhanced to meet the ever-expanding needs of today's online merchants, the new features include:

• Integration with payment processor Global Collect: The combination of CashBox and Global Collect provides merchants with access to global payment methods. The initial integration will support North American and European credit and debit cards along with Boleto Bancario in Brazil.

• Metering: In addition to providing traditional "time-based" subscription billing models, CashBox now enables online merchants to support pricing plans based on usage, such as paying for specific numbers of downloads of a movie service, as well as more complex metering capabilities, such as auto refill of game tokens.

• Increased support for Chase Paymentech Account Updater: Account Updater is now enabled for both Europe and North America and automatically provides VISA and MasterCard cardholder account updates relating to upgrades, card expirations and account closures, increasing authorization approvals and customer retention by several percentage points or more.

With this release, merchants also have the ability to create payment processing routing rules, auto-cancel subscriptions if chargebacks occur, and optimize sales tax calculations based on billing or shipping address information.
