Munich Re Underwriting Limited (MRUL) is the first client to go live on ROOM Solutionsâ new Microsoft .NET service oriented architecture, ipf³. ipf³ now enables MRUL to start collecting data ahead of schedule for the Lloydâs Performance Management Data (PMD) requirements next April.
MRUL, part of one of the worldâs largest and most influential reinsurance companies, has been a client of ROOM Solutions since 2000, using the leading Subscribe policy administration system and risk management solution Exact Advantage. ipf³ will work together with these applications to meet new business requirements without any interruptions to ongoing operations.
ipf³ is a pioneering Microsoft .NET service oriented architecture, designed to provide a processing platform for commercial insurance software â whether industry standard or bespoke. It contains ipf³ Rules, a highly sophisticated engine to develop and manage workflow and business logic. ipf³ can be accessed via the web, the desktop and mobile devices, allowing global deployment with minimum associated costs and timescales, and enabling rapid reactions to changing market conditions.
Ameet Dave, commercial director at ROOM Solutions feels that deploying ipf³ will provide a solid base for MRUL to cohesively integrate all of its operational systems. âWe have had a long collaboration with MRUL, so weâre delighted that ipf³ has enabled them to respond to this PMD requirement rapidly and with virtually no overheads,â he said.
