WMSL Achieves CMMI Level 3 Maturity Rating

24 December 2008

Wealth Management System Limited (WMSL), a leading provider of Financial software in Treasury, Asset Management and Risk Management located in Thailand, has been certified CMM (Capability Maturity Model) Level 3 last November 18, 2008, giving WMSL a huge competitive advantage in the development and maintenance of its products and services.

CMM is considered the industry standard for identifying best practices in increasing the maturity of an organization's software development processes. The CMMI approach is increasingly recognized as a performance measure for software development and engineering companies across the world, especially in the US and Asian markets.

In 2002, WMSL is one of the first companies in Thailand to achieve level 2 certification. The company is one of the selected top class software firms from ITAP (Industrial Technology Assistant Program) and Software Park Thailand to subsidize for CMM’s standard. WMSL selected GPI Asia, a globally known Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) appraisal service provider, as its Lead Assessor to achieve CMMI and SEI certifications. Attaining CMMI Level 3 will enhance WMSL's business development capabilities and demonstrates its level of commitment to excellence in software development and project management to accomplish its mission to be the best financial and investment software developer in the Asia-Pacific region.
