Interactive Data Managed Solutions Doubles Number of Customers in North America in One Year

Interactive Data Corporation (NYSE: IDC), a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related services, today announced that its Managed Solutions business has doubled its number of customers in North America to 80 in one year and has expanded its product offerings to help meet the evolving needs of financial customers such as global wealth managers, retail and investment banks, asset managers, online brokers, stock exchanges, and commodities brokers.

Interactive Data Managed Solutions has more than 470 customers globally and hosts more than 1,000 Web sites. New customers for this business in North America include: AOL, Firstrade, Standard & Poor’s and Platts (both are divisions of The McGraw-Hill Companies).

Recently introduced offerings from Interactive Data include: Market Data via XML (MDXSM), a service for in-house developers looking to integrate data into their Web site and applications; ETF Center, a suite of products that include profiles, charts, screeners and analytical tools for exchange-traded funds; and a Mobile Offering, a service that delivers stock and index quote information to cell phones, pagers and handheld devices. The Company utilized new technologies such as Silverlight, Flex and Web 2.0 to develop these innovative products for its customers.

Interactive Data Managed Solutions leverages the financial market data sources from across its businesses and from other vendors to build and manage customized Web-based applications. These applications aggregate a tailored set of financial data and customer-proprietary content, and offer visually stunning features such as streaming data feeds, charts, sophisticated search functions and decision-support tools and analytics. Interactive Data Managed Solutions helps its customers optimize business processes and save costs, while creating a unique online experience that attracts, engages and retains online users.
