GIS is now positioned to begin upgrading the rest of their customer base with plans for both small server and hosted implementations of the DRC products.
âWe needed to create a customized line of business that would be able to support the size and product offerings of our mutual insurance companies,â said Mike Ward, President of GIS. âBy implementing DecisionMaker, we will be able to support multiple mutual insurance clients through flexible and easily maintainable products, with minimal programmer involvement,â he continued.
Karen Yamamoto, DRCâs VP of Product Development commented, âNow that GIS has laid the initial groundwork with DecisionMaker, GIS will be able to offer to their hundred plus clients a much faster upgrade path from its legacy policy administration systems to DecisionMaker, leveraging DRCâs web based conversion utilities and services. Furthermore, this has been a great opportunity for DRC to add Farmowners and opens up opportunity for DRC to expand the use of the DecisionMaker Suite to a large number of mutual companies.â
