SAVVIS Positioned in the Leaders Quadrant in Magic Quadrant for North American Web Hosting

ST. LOUIS, MO - 15 April 2008

Further supporting its position as a global leader in IT infrastructure services for business and government applications, SAVVIS today announced that industry analyst firm Gartner, Inc. has positioned SAVVIS in the “Leaders” quadrant in the Magic Quadrant for North American Web Hosting, 2008, published April 10, 2008, and authored by Gartner analysts Ted Chamberlin and Lydia Leong.
According to Gartner, vendors listed in the “Leaders” quadrant “have proven they have staying power in this market, can frequently innovate upon their existing products, and can be relied on for enterprise hosting needs. They have proven their technical competence and ability to deliver services to a wide range of customers.”

The Gartner Magic Quadrant is widely recognized as one of the most influential benchmarks for enterprises seeking to evaluate hosting services. It evaluates vendors according to completeness of vision – including product line breadth and functionality, successful implementations, and the ability to meet customer requirements now and in the future – as well as the ability to execute, which includes breadth and depth of services, quality of operations and overall viability, among other criteria.

Since the publication of the last North American Web Hosting Magic Quadrant, SAVVIS has advanced and expanded its hosting services delivery platform and operational support systems to deliver enterprise hosting throughout North America, Europe and Asia. SAVVIS currently operates 29 data centers globally encompassing more than 1.4 million square feet of high-quality space designed to support business and governmental IT operations.
