Stevens’ appointment will significantly deepen Bravura’s global executive team and strengthen its international business development capability. A 21-year veteran of the financial services industry, Stevens will be based at Bravura’s Sydney head office.

Stevens joins the company from ING Australia, where as Head of Strategy and Finance, Employer Superannuation, he was responsible for strategic and operational planning for their employer superannuation business. Stevens’ role also included the management of the risk and compliance framework and the financial management of a significant Profit & Loss business. Prior to this role, he was National Manager, Employer Super & Group Risk Distribution at ING.
Stevens also spent seven years in senior management positions at Tower Australia Limited covering Finance, Product & Marketing and Operations.

Stevens is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and an Associate of the US Society of Actuaries. He has held a number of Trustee and Board roles for organisations including ING and Tower and has actively participated in industry bodies such as the Institute of Actuaries of Australia and IFSA.
He is due to commence his role on 16 October 2007.
