ACI EMEA Enhances Crime Prevention and Detection Consultancy with Two New Hires

Watford, England – 25 September 2007

ACI Worldwide (Nasdaq: ACIW), a leading international provider of enterprise payment solutions, today announced that it has appointed Andy Morris as well as David Divitt who will join the company as Risk Solutions Consultants. Both new hires will join ACI EMEA’s Risk Solutions team and will work with customers to help them deal with the new forms of fraud that are likely to result from the introduction of Faster Payments and SEPA.

In response to the growing threat of financial crime, ACI has appointed two industry experts to strengthen the company’s already established business consultancy team which has expertise in combating financial crime perpetuated through a variety of payment mechanisms such as plastic card, cheque, money transfer and online banking.

Michelle Weatherhead, Manager of EMEA Risk Solutions at ACI comments: “Due to an increase in demand, particularly in the multi-channel enterprise risk space, we have strengthened our risk solutions team with two specialists bringing over 30 years’ practical experience in the industry. The appointments will enhance ACI’s consultancy services to our customers throughout EMEA helping them obtain maximum benefit from Proactive Risk Manager, our powerful financial crime prevention and detection solution.”

Morris will join ACI with over 23 years of financial crime and payments experience. He is a key ambassador for the need to evolve financial crime business solutions to address Identity Theft through Enterprise Risk and Alert Management technology systems. Morris joins after heading up Carreker’s EMEA Risk & Compliance team for the past eight years.

Divitt joins the company having previously worked for the Interac Association in Canada where he was responsible for Debit Card fraud analysis and solution building for the Association's 90 plus members. He was instrumental in enhancing and administering a nationwide, shared fraud system used by the membership to share Debit Card fraud data. Prior to working at the Interac Association, Divitt supported CertaPay in launching and implementing Canada’s first Email Money Transfer (EMT) system. Divitt also helped to enhance the detection facilities and processes to a point where losses from fraud using EMT were at an all-time low. Such experience will be invaluable for ACI’s UK customers who are facing similar issues with the imminent introduction of Faster Payments.
