Exstream Software, LLC today announced that TIAA-CREF, the leading provider of retirement services in the academic, medical, research and cultural fields, has chosen its Dialogue enterprise document automation software to replace the companyâs legacy technologies for document creation. TIAA-CREF chose Dialogue for its ability to provide a single software platform to streamline document-related processes, eliminate redundant work efforts, and reduce compliance risk. In the future, the company plans to take advantage of Exstreamâs Dialogue Live software to replace standard, fixed templates with interactive documents that will enable controlled document creation at the financial advisor level. Fully integrated with Dialogueâs document production environment, Dialogue Live will allow TIAA-CREF to use the interactive documents completed in the field to drive fulfilment and other processes, eliminating manual steps and minimising the number of templates the company currently maintains.
âWe chose a solution that could produce different types of documentsâwhether print, electronic, or interactiveâto replace multiple composition systems being used today,â said Arnold Pedowitz, manager of document technology for TIAA-CREF. âIn the future, the company plans to leverage Exstreamâs software to consolidate statements to its many participants, increase retention rate, and improve the overall customer experience.â
Debbie Herndon, TIAA-CREFâs IT director for Imaging, Workflow & Document technology, added, âImplementation of Dialogue will allow TIAA-CREF to streamline document creation and deliver customer-focused communications, while meeting business requirements of faster time to market, cost efficiencies, and ease of use.â
âStreamlining document-driven processes is critical to maintaining a competitive advantage in the financial services arena,â said Greg Osborne, vice president of insurance services for Exstream. âWe are proud to support TIAA-CREF as they move aggressively in this direction.â
