SunGard Announces Record Transaction Figures for Hosted Credit Risk Service

SunGard today announced that its Adaptiv Credit Risk solution is currently processing derivative transactions at a rate of over four million transactions per month. SunGard’s Adaptiv Credit Risk is a global credit risk management and control solution that provides a real-time solution for global exposure aggregation and limit management, credit risk analytics, collateral management and web-based risk reporting.

As a hosted service, the solution allows banks to focus on financial engineering and trading, while SunGard provides and maintains the technology. Running on Intel® Xeon® processor-based platforms, Adaptiv Credit Risk is able cost-effectively to provide complex functionality to customers while managing increasing transaction processing rates.
