GL TRADE started offering ASP market connectivity to the London Stock Exchange in late 2004 and the group has consistently invested in order to offer its ASP clients the best outsourced service possible. Recently, GL TRADE invested in a multi-site, secure connectivity infrastructure to give clients the full advantage of the new London Stock Exchange TradElect service launched in June 2007, delivering both high speed market data feed and low latency trading access. Further investment has already been earmarked for 2008 in order to accompany the latest changes from the London Stock Exchange.
âWe are delighted to have reached such an important milestone so quickly, with a further half a dozen clients in the process of getting connectedâ comments Philippe Carré, Global Head of Client Connectivity, GL TRADE. âOur continued investment in state of the art facilities for our ASP service is paying, with an increasing number of institutions interested by economies of scale and a clear re-focus on core expertise joining our expanding client base. 2007 has seen our GL CONNECT ASP offering really take off, with more than 150 clients connected and close to 70 financial markets available.â
Commenting on the GL CONNECT ASP service, Wendy Morgan, Head of Real Time Data at the London Stock Exchange, said: "We are keen to broaden our base of international customers and it is essential that they have a wide variety of options when choosing to connect to the London Stock Exchange's markets. We therefore welcome GL TRADE's participation and investment in this market."
