The LS100IP is designed to simplify branch automation by enabling multiple users at a branch location to share one or a few LS100IP units over a Local Area Network (LAN). The units can be easily deployed to branches with managed installation and activation.
The LS100IP supports Microsoft Windows 98/2000/XP systems, as well as Linux. It features a reading speed of 500mm/sec (19.7in/sec) with throughputs of up to 52 documents per minute. Flexible reader formats, front and rear image cameras and an automatic document feeder, as well as document stamping and other features, are also available. Special features available only on the LS100IP are Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocols, 10Mb built-in memory for backup and rollback, and the ability to be an onboard application client allowing integrators to download applications directly into the unit.
âThe LS100IP facilitates flexible deployments in remote offices while maintaining centralized management,â said Alex Trombetta, CTS North America CEO. âIt is ideal for distributed networks and branch offices, also allowing shared use of peripherals. Weâve taken all of the capabilities of our standard LS100 line and made them available for managed IP environments. The LS100IP is the first ever driverless browsable scanner â users just open a browser to pull up scanned images â and it is fully compatible with applications supporting the CTS line of scanners.â
