CTS and Alogent Partner in Branch Deposit Automation

Burlington, MA - 12 November 2007

CTS and Alogent Corp. today announced a marketing agreement under which Alogent will resell and integrate the full line of CTS check and document scanning products. The CTS hardware will be qualified with Alogent’s Sierra Xpedite® Deposit Automation Solutions for financial institutions, which capture, validate and manage transactions in real time at the earliest point of presentment.

“We are witnessing continued growth in the demand for deposit automation around the globe and want to maintain our leadership in offering both depth and breadth of systems integration to our financial institution customers,” said Paul J. Citarella, executive vice president at Alogent. “Furthermore, as banks become more experienced and knowledgeable about branch and remote deposit automation, many are requesting turnkey systems that offer increased speed to market. Our enhanced agreement with CTS allows us to package a solution that includes state-of-the-art equipment, is cost effective, and is relatively easy to deploy.”

Commented Alex Trombetta, CTS North America CEO, “This expanded partnership builds on a longstanding relationship between CTS and Alogent that originated in Europe. By coupling CTS equipment, the broadest line of check processing equipment available, with Alogent’s enterprise-wide approach to deposit automation, financial institutions can be assured of a truly integrated system that meets their objectives in both functionality and business results.”
