The Bangkok office will be headed up by Mrs Bang-Orn Peukam, who previously held the role of Country Manager for CSC Thailand, and was responsible for running the financial services business unit.
Bravura Group CEO and Managing Director, Mr Iain Dunstan said: âOver the past six months, Bravura has experienced remarkable growth in the Asian region, where we currently operate a North Asia head office in Hong Kong.
âThe decision to further expand our presence in Asia is a direct result of the demand we are seeing in the region for world class applications and services. This represents an exciting growth opportunity for Bravura. By 2008, we expect 10 to 12 per cent of our revenue to be derived from Asian markets, compared to 1.7 per cent last year.
âA second key reason for Bravuraâs new Bangkok office is the recent Letter of Engagement we have signed with New York Life International (NYLI), the largest mutual life insurance company in the United States. The Letter of Engagement is for the provision of certain interim services in relation to the proposed implementation of Bravuraâs Talisman suite of application software into NYLIâs Asian operations.â
This latest expansion has increased Bravuraâs global presence to 15 offices across nine countries.
