Software Solutions Partners (SSP) and IBM are to launch the next generation of insurance company software, SSP insure J on 1 May 2007 at a joint seminar at IBM’s UK headquarters at Bedfont Lakes near Heathrow.

SSP insure J is the new n-tier modular general insurance application that fully embraces newer technologies and distribution models, such as the Internet. Accredited by IBM as IAA compliant, the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) philosophy enables an evolutionary approach to system enhancement or replacement.

The SSP insure J launch seminar will provide valuable insights into the challenges that insurers will confront in the future and the strategies that can be employed to create new levels of performance. IBM will be speaking about their views on the future of insurance, following their recent ‘Insurance 2020’ study and will also be presenting their Pay-As-You-Drive technology. Leading technology analysts Everware-CBDI will be speaking on how SOA enables both business and IT transformation. The agenda will also include Australian insurer Wesfarmers talking about the strategic value they see in the SSP insure J application, why they backed this technology early and why they are implementing it in their insurance division.

Ramsay Adams, Head of Sales at SSP commented “SSP and IBM have only recently begun working together and this launch is seen as further strengthening the relationship, which we hope will continue for many years to come”.
