CSC FS EMEA Vice President Andrew Crowley elected President of MCA

26 March 2007

Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) is proud to announce that Andrew Crowley, Vice President of Financial Services EMEA, has been elected President of the Management Consultancies Association (MCA), the trade association for UK-based consulting firms.

This is a high profile role and will see Crowley working closely with Peter Hill, Chief Executive of the MCA, in further promoting the interests of members and the industry overall – not just in the UK but increasingly overseas. MCA members represent around 70 percent of the UK consulting sector and employ around 50,000 consultants.

Crowley comments, “The consulting industry contributes more than £8 billion to the UK economy and, with demand remaining high, it is continuing to grow year on year. I’m delighted to be in a position where I can help to try and influence more strategic and high level debate on some of the main challenges facing businesses today and where consultants can have such a pivotal role in helping shape future business success.”

Crowley has more than 20 years’ management consulting experience. He has been with CSC since 1991 where his specialist skills and expertise lay in managing large scale business transformation programmes for multi-national organisations in both the public and private sector. At CSC today, one of his key responsibilities is in leading the continued growth of the company’s EMEA consulting business.
Peter Hill, Chief Executive, MCA, says, “Crowley’s credentials are impeccable and his international experience particularly will be very important as one of our goals over the coming year is to help establish and nurture relationships with counterparts on a much more global scale and to become more of a voice on some of the wider spread issues facing businesses today.”
