SunGard Launches New Solution for Asset Managers and Third Party Administrators

Asset Arena Leverages Services Oriented Architecture To Deliver Tailored Solutions

SunGard today announced the launch of Asset Arena, a new offering for asset managers and third-party administrators that will deliver tailored solutions based on the company’s existing best-of-breed product portfolio and incorporating new components. By leveraging collaboration technologies such as SunGard’s Common Services Architecture (CSA), Asset Arena will enable customers to extend, enhance and adapt their asset management and servicing capabilities. The new offering was announced at SunGard’s annual European customer conference, SunGard Europa, in Como, Italy.

The announcement comes in response to industry demand for integrated solutions capable of supporting new global asset management strategies. Industry consolidation and convergence are driving a need for technology agility and the ability to move quickly in addressing new industry requirements. Asset Arena offers a suite of integratable components that cover the entire investment management life-cycle encompassing trading, compliance, performance measurement and attribution, investment accounting and portfolio management. Combining the functional strength of SunGard’s existing asset management solutions, the new Asset Arena offering already accounts for more than $18 trillion in assets under management.
