DataSynapse has expanded its global footprint in 2006, with new sales and support offices in Spain and South Africa. The firm opened a new R&D centre in Boston to diversify and expand talent, significantly upgrading the company's testing and quality assurance capabilities.
In addition to significant revenue and headcount growth, the company expanded its product line, successfully launching FabricServer in several customer sites. FabricServer centralises the command and control of application deployment and execution by virtualising application platforms, ISV and custom applications - ensuring that capacity is available and optimised based on business demand.
Amongst the company's high profile customer wins in 2006 were numerous successes in EMEA and Asia, which helped expand client reach and support into 13 countries, including new installations in Belgium, Hong Kong, Scandinavia, Spain, Singapore and South Africa.
