TietoEnator's e-Banking Suite will enable Entercard’s customers advanced access to card details

3 January 2007

TietoEnator has signed a contract with Entercard - a Nordic credit-card company founded by Swedbank and Barclays Bank – to provide an IT solution that enables 24x7 Web access to card details and other services for the cardholders.

The project to implement the new solution started in May 2006. Entercard has already taken one of its clients in Norway into live operation in September 2006, immediately followed by a number of Swedish customers. The solution provides advanced 24x7 availability for the customer’s credit card transaction details and other services for the card holder. The solution is planned to be expanded to Entercard’s other customers in the Nordic Region.

"We selected TietoEnator after examining various industry offerings and concluded that TietoEnator's e-Banking functionality best suited our requirements and our customers’ needs. We were impressed with TietoEnator's in-depth expertise on finance and card processing including the determination to get fast success in the project," says Pedram Tadayon, CIO of Entercard International; "We have already seen significant results of our investment in this solution and are looking forward to a fruitful partnership with TietoEnator.”

"Entercard is a dynamic organisation with aggressive growth plans in the Nordic and Baltic region" says Sami Uski, TietoEnator Financial Solutions. "We are pleased that Entercard chose to co-operate with TietoEnator in this key business area. This decision strengthens our position as a key vendor of critical software solutions to major financial institutions internationally.”

TietoEnator e-Banking Suite is a family of new generation e-Banking solutions, offering advanced portal functionality and ready-made business services for financial institutions’ customers.
