User-Friendly Online Authentication Platform Now Includes Geolocation Tracking

Green Armor Solutions, the market-leading innovator of user-friendly online authentication technologies, and IP2Location, a leading provider of Internet geolocation tracking information, today announced a partnership to deliver enhanced authentication capabilities for financial services enterprises. The two firms have integrated IP2Location’s identically-named geolocation-information offering into Green Armor’s Identity Cues Two Factor authentication platform to enhance authentication checks by determining a user’s physical location.

The partnership gives Green Armor’s customers the option of using IP2Location’s complete worldwide knowledge of Internet mappings as an additional layer of risk management and protection against online fraud.

“Identity Cues Two Factor is already known as the simplest strong-authentication system for end users, and one of the most secure as well,” said Shira Rubinoff, president of Green Armor Solutions. “Our partnership with IP2Location has allowed us to enhance our offering further and to continue to deliver best-of-breed solutions to the market.”

Green Armor Solutions' Identity Cues series of enterprise software products leverages a combination of psychology and technology, thereby delivering a solution that is both more effective and easier to implement than alternative offerings. It stands out in its simplicity for users (they do not need to enroll, install any software, carry any devices, memorize any information, or perform extra steps during login), and its security (for example, offering multiple defenses against man-in-the-middle attacks as well as against next generation psychology-based attacks, both of which are beginning to surface as serious vulnerabilities in many authentication systems).

“Green Armor Solutions is clearly the leader in the space of easy-to-use yet extremely secure authentication systems, and we are excited to have been chosen as their partner, said Kim Loong, Director of Business Development at IP2Location. “The incorporation of IP2Location into Identity Cues Two Factor has produced exactly the type of authentication system that businesses need in order to deliver maximum security without sacrificing user convenience.”
