CheckFree enters Corporate Actions B.I.S.S. 2007 Accreditation process

London, UK - 5 February 2007

B.I.S.S. Research, the exclusive research company offering a unique benchmarking of services and systems in the financial services sector, today announced that CheckFree (Nasdaq: CKFR) will enter its CheckFree eVentâ„¢ corporate actions solution into the 2007 B.I.S.S. Corporate Actions benchmarking accreditation process.

Gary Wright, Chief Executive Officer, B.I.S.S. Research and creator of the B.I.S.S. business benchmarking concept, said “CheckFree has recently concluded a major deployment of their product to HSBC Securities Services (HSS) to deliver automated end to end corporate actions processing to HSS’s investment administration clients and we congratulate them on this very significant milestone. CheckFree’s system scored extremely well in last year’s benchmarking, achieving the accreditation in all three categories of broker/dealers, custodians and asset managers. Their participation in the 2007 benchmarking will greatly enhance the value of the B.I.S.S. corporate actions benchmarking report for any prospective purchaser of corporate actions system.”

Preston Hoffman, senior vice president and general manager, CheckFree Software said “The B.I.S.S. accreditation process is an important part of our ongoing investment in CheckFree eVent, our corporate actions solution. Participating in the B.I.S.S benchmarks provides a way to differentiate our solution, enabling us to demonstrate alignment to the requirements of the global industry. We know from both our clients and prospects that the annual B.I.S.S. report is playing an even greater independent role in their evaluation process of potential suppliers. It is perceived as the only stringent assessment by industry practitioners in benchmarking the key players in this arena.”
