Iris Financial Solutions, provider of front- and middle-office solutions to the worldâs leading trading and investment firms, today announced that Karen Moss has joined the firm as vice president and chief customer officer.
âKaren is leading the charge to take Iris to a new level of excellence in terms of delivery and customer service â her mandate is to ensure that each of our tier 1 customers is 100% satisfied,â said Michele McGovern, CEO, Iris Financial Solutions. âKaren brings world-class experience to Iris, as she has built and run customer service organizations at some of the worldâs top financial services technology firms, from leading niche players to the largest businesses in our industry. This wealth of experience, coupled with her passion to deliver on commitments, will be invaluable to our success in this area.â
Moss joins Iris from securitization systems provider Lewtan Technologies, where she was vice president of professional services. While at Lewtan, Moss grew that firmâs customer service and consulting organizations into the largest revenue-producing unit in the company. Prior to Lewtan, she was vice president of American sales and service at DST International, managing teams that sold to and supported some of the largest financial services firms in the world. She was also director of services for Thomson Investment Softwareâs Paragon division, a fixed income accounting system for tier 1 and super-regional banks.
In addition, she has worked internationally in professional services, sales and technical roles at leading technology firms including Sales Technologies Inc., a Dun & Bradstreet subsidiary.
As chief customer officer, Moss is responsible for all delivery related teams at Iris, including application development and configuration, testing and account management. In addition, she will personally oversee and manage some of Irisâ largest global accounts.
âEnsuring that our customers are thrilled with Irisâ solutions must start at the top and pervade everything we do,â explained Moss. âI believe that in a company of our size, itâs important for the people running the company to be intimately involved in each relationship â thatâs how you really understand what is working for your customers and what is not.
âIris is poised to make a huge mark on the financial services technology landscape and seize a true leadership position,â continued Moss. âWe can only achieve success like that if we deliver better than anyone else in our industry â and, thatâs what we intend to do.â
Moss reports to CEO Michele McGovern. She is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
