Vertafore Appoints Susanna Morgan as Top Company Strategist

New Senior Vice President to Drive Strategic Planning and Corporate Development

Vertafore™, Inc., a leading provider of specialized software solutions for the insurance industry, named Susanna Morgan senior vice president, corporate strategy and planning. Morgan will drive strategic planning activities, work with all business units (AMS Services®, BenefitPoint®, ImageRight® and SilverPlume®) to prioritize and execute acquisitions, develop and execute plans for successful acquisition integration and manage special projects and initiatives.

Before joining Vertafore, Morgan was vice president of corporate development at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., a leading provider of securities brokerage and financial services. Morgan was responsible for integrating acquisitions totaling more than $800 million, supervising a portfolio of venture investments and directing corporate strategy including growth opportunities and Schwab’s $500 million cost-savings initiative. Before Charles Schwab, Morgan was senior director of corporate development for Oracle, responsible for mergers and acquisitions strategy and execution, corporate investments and technology licensing. Morgan holds a bachelor’s degree in quantitative economics and a master’s degree in international policy from Stanford University and a master’s of business administration from the Harvard Business School.
