Datamatics was placed in the highest World Class Level in the Large Services Organization Category. The Award, in its seventh year, is administered by the Asia Pacific Quality Organization (APQO).APQO is a nonprofit Organization that serves as an umbrella group that brings together all of the leading quality professional societies from countries that border on the Pacific Ocean or are considered Asian / Pacific nations.
The winners are selected through the internationally-recognized Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award (MBNQA) model, the trained examiners used this criteria set by the MBNQA to evaluate organizations. Each company was evaluated on the seven elements: Leadership, Strategic Planning, Customer and Market Focus, Measurement, Analysis and Knowledge Management, Human Resource Focus, Process Management and Business Results.
According to Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman and CEO, Datamatics, âWe saw the RBNQA as a means to prove we are world-class. We thus adopted the internationally-proven Malcolm Baldridge Business Excellence model over three years ago with the intention of benchmarking Datamatics with the best in the industry globally.â
