Interactive Data Managed Solutions further enhances the Professional Edition of its customisable financial market terminal

Interactive Data Corporation, a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related services, announced that its Managed Solutions group has enhanced the PrimeTerminal workstation for financial market professionals with additional data and greater functionality. The customisable PrimeTerminal now leverages even more information from across Interactive Data’s businesses, allowing users to access a wide range of data from a further 130 OTC data contributors worldwide. Corporate actions and additional stock exchanges also may be available as optional packages.

The Professional Edition of PrimeTerminal is designed to help meet the requirements of asset managers and private client advisors by offering greater simplicity, intuitive design and optimum search functionality across asset classes. The latest enhancements include keyboard shortcuts, more detailed performance charts and powerful search capabilities to easily find securities that meet specific criteria, as well as indices and their constituents.

Users of the standard version will automatically receive the new functionality and screens that visualise the contributor data with the next update of the web-based software.

“We are continuously expanding the data spectrum and functionalities of PrimeTerminal in line with the requirements of our customers,” said Stephan Wolf, managing director, Interactive Data Managed Solutions. “To this end, we stay in close contact with our customers and constantly review market trends.”

Broader Content Spectrum

PrimeTerminal customers will automatically have access to multi-contributor data packages from GTIS, Interactive Data’s real time OTC contributed data service. More than 130 global contributors supply content including currency rates, money market rates, interbank rates, bond prices and yields, as well as precious metal prices. Customers also receive a direct overview of the listed prices via the new GTIS screens.

As an additional new optional package, PrimeTerminal now offers corporate actions supplied by Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data. The corporate actions are formatted according to the ISO 15022 standard. Information related to corporate actions is provided in the form of news; users can retrieve specific data about a company (e.g. general meetings) or a security (e.g. capital changes), as well as global information (e.g. all corporate actions regarding mergers).

PrimeTerminal also offers more news packages, including additional data from Dow Jones, APA, dpa-AFX and other news providers. PrimeTerminal users now may access the Industry Classification Benchmark (ICB), the four-tier sector classification scheme developed by Dow Jones Indexes and FTSE, on a subscription basis.
