The ETA Board of Directors is responsible for driving the development of key association initiatives including professional education and raising awareness of issues that affect all industry entities, including federal and state legislation and interchange rules. The ETA Board of Directors is comprised of industry luminaries, including executives from acquiring banks, payment service providers, ISOs and the card brands.
âAs the CEO of AmbironTrustWave, Bob has demonstrated a significant commitment to the ETA through his participation on the Presidential Advisory Council and several ETA committees,â said Carla Balakgie, executive director of the ETA. âAs we continue to enhance our efforts to educate the industry on a variety of critical issues including the protection of cardholder information, Bobâs knowledge and experience will be a significant asset to the association as a member of our Board of Directors.â
"Over the past few years, the ETA has demonstrated significant thought leadership with the development of programs such as Compliance Day that play a critical role in educating key industry constituents on topical issues that affect their business,â added McCullen. âI am honored to have the opportunity to contribute to the ETA â the payment card industryâs premier trade association â as a member of its Board of Directors."
McCullen is also a member of the 2006-2007 ETA Industry Relations Committee, which is comprised of industry executives who oversee the development and implementation of ETA positions on critical issues facing the industry such as proposed rules on interchange and data security.
