actant upgrades to include FX functionality

London/ Chicago – 26 April 2007

Clients trade ISE FX options on day one.

AQTOR, the flagship and market leading product of actant, is now available in a new version to its users. The version named AQTOR Release 3.60 implements some significant functional upgrades to its capabilities, including currency trading on both CME and ISE. In the latter case AQTOR users were ready to start trading at the launch of the new FX products on the exchange on April 17.

Other functionality implemented includes a new Automation Management window to control automation in all active Quote Engines from a single view. It can be applied to all types of Quote Engine for mass quoting / hidden quoting / quote request answering and scripted hedge, as well as to a range of scripted market events such as Complex Order Auctions, Hybrid Automated Liaison and Block Auction Requests.

Expanded volatility handling functions now offer users greater flexibility in the copying of implied volatilities, with built-in safety features, while enhancements to the Portfolio Center include toggling between accumulated and intraday positions and improved screen display.

A number of substantial performance optimizations have also been made, including a new hybrid Hull pricing model, dynamic link library, portfolio loading optimization, and a script micro timer (which measures the performance of a script, as it is being written).

AQTOR supports and complies with the CBOE V4 and XETRA 8 upgrades.
