Leading Integrated Health Plan Selects SunGard’s iWORKS Investment Accounting and Reporting Solution

Atlanta, GA – 17 April 2007

SunGard, today announced that Kaiser Permanente has selected SunGard iWORKS EPS, an investment management solution for insurance companies and other financial institutions. SunGard iWORKS EPS provides accounting, reporting, and decision-support capabilities for companies of all sizes. SunGard iWORKS EPS’ multi-delivery platform provides a range of specialized investment accounting tasks to help streamline and automate business processes and to help comply with regulatory requirements.

Kaiser Permanente will be using SunGard iWORKS EPS on an Application Service Provider (ASP) basis with SunGard iWORKS eLINK, a managed hosting service. SunGard will provide managed hosting of the SunGard iWORKS EPS system at its facilities so that Kaiser Permanente will incur no new hardware purchases, no application license fees, no local network overhead and no IT maintenance costs. Kaiser Permanente and its staff will use eLINK to access the system securely, anytime, anywhere.
