peterevans SHINES AT THE SYSTEMS IN THE CITY

16 April 2007

Financial technology specialists peterevans saw unprecedented success at this year’s Systems in the City awards, scooping a clutch of prizes for their continued excellence within the field. Somewhat a veteran of the awards, peterevans have been recognised for their accomplishments for the last six years running.

The annual event, held this year at the House of Lords on April 3rd as part of Summerson Goodacres’ annual Systems in the City convention, was attended by some 200 stockbrokers, fund managers and investment banks who saw peterevans make their way to the podium a record four times. The variation in the company’s accolades; Best Retail Settlement System, Best Marketing Material, Most Cost-Effective System, clearly reflects the all-round achievement within the company over the past year.

Chief Executive, Dr Mike Foley, was singled out for an individual award as Highest Rated CEO.

‘We are thrilled to have been recognised with these awards,’ said Dr Foley.

‘The success of peterevans is solely down to the hard work of such a committed and innovative team. The awards constitute a considerable and much appreciated acknowledgement for all concerned, and will drive us forward as a company.’

peterevans is one of the UK’s leading independent suppliers of sophisticated front to back office systems to the securities industry. The Company, which has been running for 23 years, works with some of the world’s leading financial institutions.

Last year’s launch of the flagship product range, xanite, reflected their development-orientated company ethos. This multi-currency, multi-entity, web-based solution offers all types of security and investment companies a unique, flexible and functionally rich platform to allow their business to keep ahead of the market trends.

“We have again seen a substantial increase in the number of nominations for these Awards which are highly respected within the Industry. Systems companies are under constant pressure to ensure that their products and services are kept in line with the changing needs of users and significant regulatory changes demanded by MiFID,’ said Stephen Pinner, Managing Director of Summerson Goodacre.

He continued ‘It is fitting that firms are recognised in this way for their contributions and support for the Financial Services Industry’.
