Accuity Introduces History File Feature to Databank’s Supplemental Files

September 2006

Accuity has made it significantly easier to locate organizational change information for financial institutions by introducing the History File for its dynamic prospecting tool, Databank. With the History File, important change data such as mergers, acquisitions, simple charter changes, name changes, relocation details, ceased operations information and other data will now be available on a quarterly basis.

The History File delivers complete national coverage, supplying merger and acquisition data for the nearly 23,000 head office locations of Banks, Credit Unions, Savings and Loans Institutions and Holding Companies and the 90,000 branch listings within the United States that Databank has on record. International head office/branch locations data will also be available in this tool.

The easy-to-use layout assists in the seamless integration of this important information. The presence of unique identifiers for each institution record within the file enables easy linkage to Databank institution records already present within your CRM or database.

Accuity stands by its reputation as one of the world’s leading suppliers of information about the financial community. Databank’s new History File adds an additional layer to the data Accuity provides, ensuring you’ll have access to the most up-to-date information on mergers, acquisitions and organizational changes available.
