Savantor goes International

Savantor Ltd., a specialist in the provision of business and technical expertise to many well known banks, card schemes, third party processors and hardware/software vendors in the card payment industry, announces the launch of Savantor International, its Copenhagen based international subsidiary.
From its Danish office, Savantor International’s services will be marketed and delivered to the Nordic area plus the Baltic states.

Kurt Andersen, a well known payments expert has been appointed Managing Director of Savantor International responsible for the Nordic operation.
Kurt Andersen has, over the last 5 to 10 years, gained a broad knowledge of international card operations primarily whilst with Visa Europe. This, combined with his retailer background, provides him with a firm platform for growing consultancy services within banking & finance as well as areas such as store cards, loyalty and prepaid.

Furthermore, Kurt Andersen is an accredited tutor at the annual Visa Bank Card Business School in Cambridge, England.

Geoffrey Down, Managing Director of Savantor Ltd. said “As we enter the tenth year of successful operation, this represents a significant step forward for the company. As part of this, it gives me great pleasure to welcome Kurt Andersen to the company. Copenhagen represents a sound geographical base for the distribution of our services into the Nordic area and also to enable further expansion into Northern Europe.”

The opening of the Danish office will coincide with a Savantor hosted seminar at the British Embassy in Copenhagen on the 3rd October, entitled “The Future of Transaction Processing”, to which leading players from the Nordic payment industry are expected to attend.
