BOCA RATON, Fla. - 3 October 2006

ClariFI(TM), a leading provider of software and services focused exclusively on quantitative portfolio management and research, announced today that Gioel Molinari has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of the company, in addition to his current responsibilities as Chief Technology Officer.

Molinari is one of the founders of ClariFI and assumes his expanded responsibilities at a time of unprecedented growth for the company. He succeeds Brad Winney who stepped down to pursue other opportunities.

William Guttman, a partner at TL Ventures and a ClariFI director, said: "We are delighted that Gioel has agreed to accept these added responsibilities, when the outlook for ClariFI has never been brighter."

"We thank Brad for all his invaluable contributions over the past four years and wish him great success in his future endeavors," noted Guttman, adding that Winney would continue to serve ClariFI in an informal advisory role.

Molinari has long been responsible for the company's technology vision, strategy and product development. He has extensive experience working at the intersection of mathematics and computer science. He successfully developed leading-edge quantitative technologies to solve a number of challenging business problems, including the design and development of the Sengent Broker Investment Advisor Grid, an Internet "grid"-based quantitative modeling platform. Molinari holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
