Data Explorers hires for growth

LONDON, October 23, 2006 – Data Explorers Limited announced today that they have added to their London and Boston Sales and Client Services teams and Data Centre, Edinburgh over the summer.

Client demand for the Performance Explorer, Risk Explorer, Index Explorer, Report Explorer and Transaction Explorer services has driven the recent expansion in staff.

In London there have been three new hires. Sarah Young joins as Sales Executive, reporting to Julian Pittam, Managing Director; Performance Explorer, with focus on further developing Performance Explorer and Risk Explorer in the UK market. Sarah brings over a decade of experience in the financial markets, primarily within market data, securities administration and post trade processing solutions. Andrew Gohl and Sejal Thaker strengthen the Client Services team, reporting to Lucy McIntosh, Head of Client Services. Andrew previously worked at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation in Trade Support, and Sejal has several years’ client relationship management experience with Reuters and FactSet.

In Boston, Richard Allin and Michael Galvin bring the headcount to four within Data Explorers first full year of operation there. Richard brings more than fifteen years experience in the financial services and software arena, having worked in financial institutions such as State Street, Fidelity, Trema and more recently Investors Capital Corporation. Richard will work with Tim Smith, President; Data Explorers Inc and will focus on growing the business in the North American markets. Michael Galvin provides additional support in Client Services and has spent time at State Street Bank and State Street Global Advisors. Michael reports to Lucy McIntosh.

Data Explorers have also expanded their data centre operations with the hire of Kabin George to the Data Management team, reporting to Ralph Williams, Data Team Manager.
