Working within the framework of a new Central Self-Service System developed and managed by Sparkasse Leipzigâs IT outsourcing partner, Siemens Business Services, Diebold will upgrade 143 ATMs to Agilis, an open, cross-vendor software platform developed by Diebold that allows multiple vendorsâ terminals and their respective technologies to co-exist. Diebold will also install 42 Opteva ATMs as well as configure 209 Diebold statement printers so that they are compatible with the bankâs new central self-service architecture.
The new Diebold technology, installed across the bankâs entire network of 104 branches, will guarantee customers of Sparkasse Leipzig a secure and reliable experience at the ATM.
Commenting on this latest deal, Jörg Engelhardt, recently appointed Managing Director of Diebold Germany GmbH, said, "We are delighted to be working with Sparkasse Leipzig. This is our second major order with one of Germanyâs leading savings banks in a matter of months. It bears testament to Dieboldâs comprehensive range of innovative, high-quality hardware, software and services that continue to deliver added value to our customers."
