Datamatics Technologies Q2FY07 PAT grows 44.29%

Datamatics Technologies Limited (DTL) (BSE: 532528, NSE: "DATAMATICS"), India's leading non-voice BPO service provider, has posted a sequential growth of 44.29 per cent in its consolidated profit after tax (PAT) to Rs 37.76 million (Rs 3.78 crore) compared to Rs 26.17 million (Rs 2.62 crore) in Q1FY07. Consolidated revenues grew 3.27 per cent to Rs 376.25 million (Rs 37.6 crore) for the second quarter ended 30 th September 2006 as compared to Rs 364.35 million (Rs 36.44 crore) in the preceding quarter.

Among the major verticals, the content management division logged in a 15.42 per cent y-o-y growth at Rs 175.22 million (Rs 17.52 crore). The related software services division saw a 226.98 per cent growth at Rs 55.26 million (Rs 5.53 crore).

As a percentage of revenues, the top five clients of the company contributed 41 per cent; the top 10 clients contributed 55 per cent, while the largest client contributed 16 per cent. Geographically, USA generated 81 per cent of the revenues while Europe generated 16 per cent and the rest of the world 4 per cent.

Other income in the quarter fell 10.38 per cent yoy to Rs 15.63 million (Rs 1.56 crore) as compared to Rs 17.44 million (Rs 1.74 crore) in the same quarter last year.
