Currenex Commences Catalyst Program for Algorithmic and Treasury Management Systems

New York - 16 October 2006

FX Trading Services improved by integrating 3rd Party Solutions

Currenex announced the participation of third party software providers in a Catalyst Program designed to confer “Partner” status to those participants meeting and maintaining strict security and integration protocols. Partners, including Algorithmic and Treasury Management Systems, benefit from developer support, API and protocol licensing, and full access to dedicated testing systems with full trading and STP services. This unique liaison allows application developers to stress test their solutions in a simulated environment that exceeds real-world standards. Ultimately, the Catalyst Program provides Currenex customers with assurance that participants have been conformance tested and have met Currenex's performance standards. Details about the program are available at www.currenex.com.

“Leveraging the Catalyst Program we have created seamless integration between Wall Street Systems and Currenex. This means more efficiencies for our customers in the form of STP. With the Catalyst Program we have been able to validate our integration and provide a high-quality solution to our joint customers,” commented Larry Ng of Wall Street Systems. “Of course we maintain rigorous testing protocols on our end and have complete confidence in its performance, but the Currenex environment presents unique conditions that we must also analyze. Our end-users can have confidence in the fact there exists a testing alliance between Currenex and Wall Street Systems.”

A number of 3rd party software providers have participated since the Program’s inception in July, with more being added subject to testing and approval. The Currenex Catalyst Program provides a framework for application providers to integrate their system with Currenex trading and STP solutions. In turn, the partners put forward a wide range of high quality and interoperable software solutions for customers to utilize in tandem with Currenex services.

Sean Gilman, Chief Technology Officer at Currenex, reiterated his company’s focus on conformance testing for every 3rd party provider: “In a market where message processing requirements are constantly growing, it is particularly important to understand the limits of your application environment. The Catalyst Program provides participating partners a variety of tools and services to validate their applications in a variety of scenarios. Our goal is to create partnerships with Algo and Treasury system vendors that yield superior solutions for the end user.”
