BITA Risk, a division of COR Financial Solutions Ltd has added to the intellectual strength of its team by appointing a highly qualified quantitative researcher. Alex Ioannidesâ first contribution will be to assist Daniel Mostovoy who is leading the Robust Optimisation project team, working alongside Professor Steve Satchel, Fellow of Trinity College Cambridge, and BITA Risk clients from London and Chicago.
The Robust Optimisation project is a leading edge development in mean variance portfolio optimisation, which has already demonstrated significant benefits during the research. Messers, Mostovoy and Satchell will be presenting their initial findings at the UK Society of Investment Professionals specialist Quant Group later this month.
This appointment takes the total PhD count within BITA Risk to six members of the team, this together with the BITA Risk Advisory Board comprising leading industry and academic figures ensures that the BITA product range maintains its position at the forefront of risk analysis.
