Central Service Association offers payment automation to utilities in the Southeast

AQ2 Technologies, a leading provider of advanced turnkey transaction automation software solutions, announced today they will be partnering their efforts with Central Service Association (CSA), based in Tupelo, MS, to deliver a complete payment processing solution for utilities in the Southeast. This team effort will combine the strengths of two existing systems, allowing users to bill customers, scan and process received payments, and upload accounting information automatically.

For almost 70 years, CSA has provided a wide array of services to public utilities. Today CSA is a complete source for customer, financial and engineering information systems, networking, internet, communications, hardware and software, consulting and statement mailing services. CSA is considered a “one source resource” for information technology within public utilities and highly respected by its 100 plus customers.

With the addition of AQ2’s remittance solution and Check 21 technology, CSA members will be able to scan payments at the point of presentment, store customer payment information digitally on-site, and automatically upload scanned information into their current CSA back-end accounting system. The Check 21 solution provided by AQ2 will allow members to go one step further and electronically deposit payments to their bank using only check images, eliminating courier fees and daily employee bank trips.
