PROFILE organises the Panel Discussion with Heads of Compliance in Greek Banks, operating in the S.E. Europe, about the AMLF latest Directive.

Further to the latest directive by the Bank Of Greece on the implementation of Banking IT systems that detect and prevent Anti Money Laundering, Market Abuse and Internal Fraud PROFILE, - the IT advisor on Banking issues for more than 15 years – organizes in the presence of the Bank of Greece as well as with the invaluable contribution of the Heads of Compliance from EFG Eurobank, HSBC Bank PLC and the National Bank of Greece, an open discussion and an interactive presentation of the new directive as the regulatory tool under evaluation.

The Panel Discussion will take place on Friday 15 December 2006 at the Athenaeum Conference Room - Athenaeum Intercontinental, between 13:30-17:00.

In particular, the key speaker of the above two-hour discussion is Mr. P. Kiriakopoulos, Director at the Department for the Supervision of Credit and Financial Instituitions with the panelists: Ms. M. Skalistiri, Group Compliance Officer at EFG Eurobank Ergasias SA, Mr. A. During the presentation all the key concerns will be discussed and analysed as derived from the new directive. New ways to comply with the directive will be presented as well as examples of the modus operati from other Banks in Greece in view of the deadline of 31.05.2007.
