The appointment to the financial, payroll and HR software companyâs board is in part in recognition of the fact that Eddie Stanleyâs team achieved a 25% growth in sales in the last financial year.
It also reflects his role of overseeing the transition of Topaz from a development centred business to a product sales organisation attracting blue chip clients including Imperial Tobacco.
Eddie Stanley has been instrumental in the concept, launch and promotion of breakthrough add-on technologies including Topaz Web Portal, Topaz Management Reporting, Topaz Credit Control and Topaz Business HR â all now major elements of the Topaz Suite.
After working in software development for the MOD, Eddie moved into systems analysis and development with Ki Computer Services in 1987. He subsequently became Regional Manager based in Nottingham where he headed up a small team of software professionals delivering solutions to a diverse range of clients including the House of Commons.
Following the acquisition of Ki by Topaz in 1994, Eddie Stanley moved into the world of sales and marking, starting as an account manager before being promoted to Sales Manager in 2001.
A family man with two children, he has a passion for food, drink and sport. He actively participates in triathlon, squash and has twice successfully completed the 24-hour three peaks challenge with colleagues at Topaz.
