Part of a larger engagement between BT and their customer, BT will initially deploy Avotusâ ICM Usage Management hosted solution to 60 of their customerâs locations worldwide. Within the next 12 months the installation will be extended to support 15,000 users and 136 sites. BT will be installing a dedicated circuit to directly connect their customerâs European headquarters to Avotus in Canada in order to facilitate the polling data collection process.
As with most large global enterprises, the end user company has traditionally used a variety of call accounting solutions from multiple vendors. These disparate systems did not provide a consistent and unified view of worldwide corporate telecom usage. Avotus ICM Usage Management will collect call and traffic data from multiple sites and will generate local, regional and corporate-wide Web-based reports in a standard format. This information will be used by BT and their customer for overall account management.
