Earlier this month, Accuity launched a new version of its industry-leading look-up tool, The Global Banking Resource (TGBR). The cornerstone of Accuity's Payment Solutions, TGBR provides detailed and accurate information for financial institution locations throughout the world. The new version includes significant data and search enhancements.
Data upgrades for TGBR v6.1 include: more correspondent information, including CHIPS; detailed payment instructions by department level; and, payment information for a number of non-depository organizations such as financial services companies, corporations and institutions that use the SWIFT network for direct payment processing. These enhancements complement TGBR's existing coverage of banks, central banks, savings and loans, credit unions, co-operative banks and holding companies.
Among the important search enhancements, TGBR now enables users to easily expand their search for connected SWIFT/BICs when the original search results indicate that a SWIFT/BIC has not been assigned to that location. Subscribers can filter payment searches based on the SWIFT/BIC connected status, TARGET clearinghouse affiliations or CHIPS correspondent banks. Additionally, regional searches for multiple area codes or postal codes are now possible to widen a target search.
