Attunity, the strategic Enterprise Integration Platform of choice for organisations looking to implement real time and on-demand data and information integration, has developed a new Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) driver with Sectornet, the systems provider to insurance and financial services firms. This will double reporting speeds for brokers, driving down costs and increasing profitability.
The ODBC driver will bring brokers closer to their customers by significantly increasing the speed of reporting, provision of quotations, and management of policies at the desktop. It will also connect more end user applications to additional data sources, making huge volumes of corporate data more readily available.
The Attunity solution will integrate with Sectornetâs core product, Sector, which is designed to run a brokerâs entire business. This includes full back office administration and accounting, claims and risk management, intelligent workflow, full document management, quotation facilities and comprehensive management reporting.
It also allows third party reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Microsoft Access to extract data directly from the Sectornet database and provides reporting speeds more than twice as fast as Sectornetâs previous driver. At the same time, it also provides the groundwork for further functionality enhancements in the future.
