Callidus Software Inc., a leader in Enterprise Incentive Management (EIM), has appointed Andrew Armstrong as vice president of sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Prior to joining Callidus Software, Armstrong has successfully been driving business initiatives in EMEA for software security firms such as Encentuate, Trend Micro and Entrust as well as for Sun Microsystems and SCO. Armstrong comes to Callidus to orchestrate the company's expansion to EMEA and drive sales efforts in this increasingly important market.

Previously, Armstrong served as managing director EMEA for Encentuate, where he commanded the company's European growth through market expansion and sales of Encentuate's digital identity management products and services. Prior to this assignment, Armstrong was managing director for Trend Micro. He worked closely with sales and product management, aligning and implementing growth strategies and successfully positioning the company as the leading provider of network antivirus and Internet content security software and services in this market. Armstrong also served as the vice president of sales and marketing for Entrust which became the top performing region under his guidance.
