Wednesday, October 20, 2005 - Bala Cynwyd, PA - FXpress Corporation, a leading provider of treasury risk management software, today announced that its corporate structure has been redefined to better meet increasing demand for its FIRST(tm) Treasury System and subsequently the diverse treasury management needs of its growing client base around the world. The new structure includes product development teams for each system module. Three veteran members of the FXpress staff were promoted to lead the teams, which include FIRST(tm) Cash Management, FIRST(tm) Foreign Exchange and FIRST(tm) Commodities, and FIRST(tm) Debt & Investment.
Eric Newberg has been named Product Manager for FIRST(tm) Cash Management. He will lead his team in designing and implementing domestic and international cash management functionality into FIRST(tm). Eric has more than 12 years of experience designing and implementing corporate cash and treasury management solutions. Most recently, Eric worked as a principal senior consultant with Oracle Corporation, PriceWaterHouseCoopers and XRT in the areas of cash, treasury and risk management and treasury solution implementation He earned his MBA from the Pennsylvania State University's Smeal School of Business. Eric is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP).
Darren Greway has been named Product Manager for FIRST(tm) Foreign Exchange and FIRST(tm) Commodities. He will take the same customer-driven approach that characterizes FXpress to develop best-in-class foreign exchange and commodity risk solutions with added analytical and compliance tools, improved exposure lifecycle and hedge management, and deeper integration with cash management. Darren is a seven-year FXpress veteran. Since joining the company, he has played key roles as a senior developer, project manager, business analyst,
implementer, and account manager. Darren is a Microsoft-certified developer and holds Economics, History and Business degrees from Pennsylvania State University.
James Ware has been named Product Manager for FIRST(tm) Debt & Investment. Jamie has been with FXpress for five years as a systems architect and then a business analyst. In these roles he has made significant development contributions to both the FXpress(tm) Desktop System and FIRST(tm). Prior to joining FXpress, Jamie was a partner with FNX Ltd., where he was a technical lead overseeing development. He has also worked in development for other financial software firms, providing banks with risk analytics solutions. Jamie has B.S. in Computer Science from Drexel University.
The team of product managers will be led by Jo A. Stevens, FXpress Director of Client Services. Jo, who became the first employee of FXpress 13 years ago, will be responsible for guiding the development of the comprehensive FIRST(tm) Treasury System and for overseeing the support, training and implementation teams. Jo has 23 years of experience designing and writing computer systems. Prior to joining FXpress, she was a consultant to DuPont-Merck, where she managed existing systems and created customized reports and applications. Jo
earned an M.B.A. from Baldwin-Wallace College and a B.S. in Business from Cabrini College.
