INSTEC EXPANDS CLIENT’S SELF-SUFFICIENCY WITH NEW FORMS ADMINISTRATOR

Add your own company text forms to QuickSolver’s extensive bureau forms library and define the corresponding logic for automatic attachment to the appropriate policies.

Naperville, IL, October 17, 2005: INSTEC, a leading provider of rating and policy administration software for the insurance industry and experts in integrated solution delivery, announces the immediate availability of the QuickSolver® Forms Administrator that allows a user to add their own company text forms to QuickSolver’s extensive bureau forms library and define the corresponding logic for automatic attachment to the appropriate policies. An easy-to-use Wizard allows users to specify form effective dates, which bureau forms should be actively used, and the print order for all forms - on a rating company and/or insurance program basis.

The new Forms Administrator is now available to all INSTEC clients as part of the QuickSolver Maintenance program. This new Administrator is added to the existing suite of QuickSolver Administrators that give designated user(s) the self-sufficiency to configure and control their rating and policy administration environment without reliance on INSTEC or another third party.

A beta program for the Administrator was completed prior to formal production. According to Brian Henn, VP of Administration, HBW Insurance Services, "The new version of the Forms Administrator is another great addition to the INSTEC product offering. According to Tanya Dziubla, INSTEC Project Manager, "From a library of thousands of bureau and client-unique forms, QuickSolver automatically produces and assembles the full policy of Declarations, schedules, forms, and worksheets. In addition to text and data forms, a user has the ability to enter free-form text in "filler" forms. Users now have the ability to create their own text forms with the Forms Administrator, without the involvement of INSTEC. In essence, the Forms Administrator is consistent with our approach to enable clients to enjoy a predictable total cost of ownership over the long term."
